during the week so we had their

"Dive Bloody" But they do have

a bloody mary bar on Sunday's!

Absolut Vodka, Guinness, Green Tobasco,

Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice, Ballast

Point Bloody Mary Mix

Garnished with bacon and

cheese stuffed peppers/olives. 

The garnishes were the best thing

about this mary. It's too watery 

and not spicy at all. Texture 

needs to be much thicker. And

was there even booze in there>?

as their house bloody goes, THUMBS DOWN

Homemade Green Bloody Mary

Homemade, Semi-Raw Green Bloody Mary

So we decided, not all tomatoes are red so why can't

we make a green one using tomatillos! 

Recipe=

Yield- 6 (16oz) Bloody's 

2 lbs Tomatillos 

2 Garlic Cloves 

1 English Cucumber

1 med Jalapeno 

1 bunch Celery

1/2 white Onion

1 inch cubed Ginger

1 green Bell Pepper

1 cup fresh Lime Juice

1 cup Water

Salt + Pepper to taste

Blend them all together then strain the juice out

(Can use a juicer)

We then added 

1.5 ounces Vodka

 Teaspoon of  Horseradish

3 dashes of Habanero hot sauce

(or any other green hot sauce)

3 dashes of Worcestershire

Teaspoon of good dijon mustard 

Garnished simply with a 

Stick of Celery 

and a Lime Slice

We loved how it turned out!

It was basically like a green juice with alcohol.

Made us feel "Healthy"

My friend hates Bloody Mary's and loved these! 

Super Refreshing and a must make again.

for us to go try, and here we are,

 getting buzzed trying 4 of them!

Jr Mary

Basil Vodka, Muddled Basil 

Tomato juice and Red wine.

This was more of a fancy wine cocktail 

rather than a BM. It has a feminine aroma. 

I don't know if you like red wine in the morning

but we don't, tastes like a sauce that should 

be served over chicken. 

One Armed Mary 

Standard Bloody Mary ingredients, rimed 

with salt and pepper but garnished with a 

spicy grilled octopus tentacle 

that actually tastes pretty good. 

Johnny's Hangover Mary

20oz Mary served with french 

bread with chorizo and melted cheese. 

We went big today trying this one. 

We really loved it, just enough spices

and horseradish. This was our favorite!

The bread on top was delicious, barely 

needed our breakfast afterwards. 

Roman Mary 

This may look like a normal 

bloody mary, but it smells like the ocean. 

We found floating anchovies at the bottom of 

the glass. Surprisingly, it tasted like 

a caesar salad. This one wasn't spicy

 at all yet had a great tang.

This Bloody not enough horseradish or tabasco. 

Super plain only served with celery, lemon and olives. 

We love your all day mimosas but your bloody's

need a serious makeover.

Bier Garden

First BM we had was their Classic Bloody

It was made with infused horseradish vodka 

garnished with the typical fixes. Served in a 

16oz mason jar AND you get a free 3oz craft

beer of your choice. Pretty awesome! 

The second one we had was the Spicy BM. 

It was made with habanero and serrano 

infused TEQUILA. Thats right folks, this 

is a tequila BM. I couldn't taste the heat 

because all I could taste was that tequila. 

If you like your tequila, definitely try this one!

Lumberyard Tavern

Lumberyard Tavern, Encinitas, CA

Tavern has a homemade mix, yet was not 

overwhelming with flavor. Had a good amount 

of horseradish and was served in a 16 oz class. 

Fixes were quite boring as well. Come on!

 Only an olive and a lemon? YET, loved

 the happy hour weekend am from 9-2  

Next time we will try their 101 Bloody Mary that has 

Stoli jalapeno vodka, and a maple bacon slice!

Small Bar

Small Bar, Normal Heights, CA 

Small Bar's Mary was good. 16oz glass, 

with a shot of Guinness

Served with a heaping stick of veggies, 

bacon and a pickled green bean
